Terms of service

Last updated June 2026

These terms govern your use of PlainPage. By using the service you agree to them.

The service

PlainPage transcribes and summarises audio you upload and extracts action items. It is a software service — you bring your own audio; we do not record meetings for you.

Your responsibilities

  • Consent. You must have the consent of everyone recorded before uploading and processing their audio. You confirm this at upload.
  • You must use the service lawfully and not upload unlawful or infringing content.
  • You are responsible for your account and keeping your sign-in secure.

AI-generated output

Transcripts and summaries are generated by AI and may contain errors. They are marked as AI-generated. Verify them before relying on them for important decisions.

Plans & billing

Paid plans include a monthly allowance; usage above it is billed as overage. Plans renew until cancelled. Prices are shown at checkout.

Intellectual property

You retain ownership of your audio and its outputs. We retain ownership of the PlainPage software and brand.

Disclaimers & liability

The service is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law, we exclude implied warranties and limit our liability as set out in the final reviewed terms.

Termination

You may stop using the service at any time; we may suspend accounts that breach these terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
